“Are you ready for your first assignment?” she asks. “You know very well that if I’m not that I get kicked out of the compound,” You shudder at the thought of leaving the compound, “So why bother asking?” “It’s required by the rules,” she replies even more grumpily. “Sorry if I offended you. I didn’t mean to, so what is my assignment?” “You will go out of the compound to the forest. When you get there, find the log next to a pond, then hide until you hear an old lady and two cats approach. You step out, your paws aching, into a forest, a hatch swinging closed behind you. You pause for a moment, waiting for your eyes to adjust to the sunlight. When they finally adjust you see that you are standing on some dark green grass, just next to the mountain that you have lived in for your entire life, this being the second time that you have ever been outside. As the dog moves, you see the rest of the tunnel, angled slightly upward. You walk upward for what feels like forever forever. [[Next->Outside Cave Exit 1]]

You look around for a while before finding a small, nearly completely overgrown path leading away from the mountain. [[Follow the path->Overgrown Path]] [[Find a different path->Cant find another path]]

"Could you help me find a pond with a hollow log?" You ask the Squirrel. "And why would I do that?" It asks you with a thick country accent. "Out of the kindness of your heart!" You reply. "What if I don't have any?" It replies. "Oh..." You say, stumped. "I'll do it anyway, because you dogs are vicious hunters, I know that from experience." They say, rudely. ] "Well, can you show me where to go?" "Sure, follow me!" They say and start off, scurrying through the underbrush. You follow the small path, which seems to loosly follow a small stream, until it ends. You look around until you see the pond that you were looking for. [[Walk over to the pond and hide in the hollow log->Hollow log (waiting)]] [[Forget your mission and take a swim->In Pond(Swimming)]]

You start towards him, but he jumps in before you can get to him. Strange, cats usually don't like water... [[Leave->Scoring]] [[Stay and help->Helping cats and lady]]

You head back to your supervisor's office. "You will receive your scores in a few days." She says, "Meanwhile, please head back to your previous residence and continue your life like normal." You jump in after the old lady, but when you dive down, you can't find her. The other cat is looking for the old lady as well.

You dive into the water and find the cat looking for the old lady. It sees you and swims away. It seems to be upset with you. I wonder why...

You go back to the log and find a cat looking for something. You find this especially strange because there is nothing inside of the log except you two. You tell the cat what happened, and tell them that you feel bad about it.
